Team Development

Improve Team Performance, Motivation and Relations

We run workshops to help teams work more effectively together. Whether your team is new or more established there is always scope for continuous improvement. Rather than providing a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach we can adapt the workshop around your specific requirements.

Quest employ a range of psychometrics and models that build on each other such as the MBTI. We ensure that the team members can usefully apply the models back in the workplace and that goals are planned to improve effectiveness.  Exercises are used that provide a platform for team members to open up channels of communication and to develop their understanding of how they interact with their colleagues.

Our team effectiveness workshops provide the ideal opportunity for colleagues to really get to know and appreciate each other. We run workshops which are highly engaging and interactive as this is the best environment for learning and improving.

Key Benefits of Team Development Workshops:

  • We use leading psychometrics to enhance and raise awareness of self and others: MBTI, Belbin Team Roles, etc.
  • Identify the key strengths and areas to improve for individuals and the team
  • Interative and engaging group activities which optimise learning
  • Provision of reports to the individual to support ongoing career development
  • We adapt the workshop around your specific needs and objectives

Our approach to Team Development involves the following key steps:

Case Study: BNFL Team Development

A finance team within BNFL were interested in improving team effectiveness. Quest were contacted to support this process. After speaking with the team’s manager we established some clear objectives and gained agreement on what options to include within the workshop. Prior to attending the workshop all team members completed the MBTI online.

On the workshop we used interactive exercises to explore each type preference and how to apply the model. The last session focused on understanding the collective strengths and weaknesses and what challenges and opportunities might exist. Once the team had a chance to present their ideas an action plan was developed to address specific issues.

The team are now progressing well on their development plan. The feedback from the manager is that the workshop was a key driver for enabling the team to function more effectively and communication within the team is better than ever before.
