Case Study - Senior Manager & Director Assessments |
During a period of significant re-organisation British Energy wanted to generate a new culture and way of doing business. There was a need to appoint new senior-level talent over an extended period. In particular, British Energy were interested in developing commercial awareness and leadership. The organisational competencies were re-defined so that they could be used effectively for their senior management and executive level appointments.
Due to the high number of managers to be assessed a bespoke strategic-level written exercise and interactive follow-up was designed to specifically assess key strategic and commercial thinking skills. This incorporated analogous issues and challenges facing the real business. Psychometric assessments were chosen that provided objective measures of capability.
Careful consideration was given to the candidate experience as these were talented external candidates who could carefully select the company they wish to join. Quest provided verbal feedback and a report. All candidates received feedback and successful candidates had a developmental feedback session. |
