Case Study: Competency Framework Development

Our client needed to update their competency framework to reflect the changing market demands and future strategy of the organisation. Quest Partnership applied their commerical and psychological expertise to realign the competences that were now dated and misaligned to business need for future growth.

Firstly, 1-2-1 discussions were held with the Executive Lead team to understand the corporate challenges and strategy. Workshops were conducted to maximise staff participation and ownership in the framework development. The question "What does excellent performance look like?" was answered by many staff groups, and specific behaviours identified. These rich inputs were combined with the latest thinking in organisational behaviour and research into transformational leadership to produce a clear, coherent competency framework.
